At a busy event entrance, wristbands need to be quick to issue, easy for staff to recognize, and difficult to transfer between guests. Custom Tyvek paper wristbands meet these needs through color coding, printed information, sequential numbering, and a one-time adhesive closure with security cuts. For simple visual identification, choose the non-RFID version and customize it with event details, logos, QR codes, or barcodes. When the wristband needs to communicate with a reader, an RFID chip can be integrated into the same Tyvek structure.

Wristband Structure Printing and Data Customization

The wristband closes with a one-time adhesive tab and security cuts. Removing it causes visible damage, so it cannot be resealed or transferred to another person without detection. For RFID versions, the chip and antenna can be made as a separate encapsulated insert or laminated directly into the Tyvek wristband. Waterproof RFID encapsulation is available for pools, water parks, and normal rain or splash exposure. Sample testing is recommended for prolonged immersion, chemical exposure, or unusual operating conditions.

Customize the wristband with colors, logos, event details, QR codes, barcodes, sequential numbers, UID text, and other variable information. RFID wristbands can be supplied blank or pre-encoded. We can also read chip UIDs, provide a data file, and match the UID, encoded data, QR code, barcode, and printed number on a one-to-one basis. Sheets and rolls are available. For roll production, the quantity per roll, core size, output direction, and winding direction can be customized when required.

Compatibility and Sample Testing

Compatibility depends on the selected chip, frequency, protocol, encoding format, reader, customer software, wristband structure, and operating environment.

Only wristbands using a compatible NFC chip can be read by NFC-enabled smartphones. LF and UHF wristbands do not provide the same phone-reading function. UHF reading performance depends on the chip, antenna, reader, wristband structure, the way it is worn, and the surrounding environment.

Before bulk production, test samples with the actual reader, software, data format, and use environment. This is especially important for access control, water exposure, and UHF reading projects.

Common Questions

Are these wristbands reusable?

No. The wristband uses a one-time adhesive closure with security cuts. Even if the selected RFID chip can be rewritten, the finished wristband is intended for one-time use.

Are the wristbands waterproof?

Tyvek material is suitable for normal rain and splash exposure. RFID versions can use waterproof chip encapsulation. Sample testing is recommended for prolonged immersion, chemical exposure, or unusual operating conditions.

Which RFID chip should I choose?

Choose the chip according to your reader frequency, protocol, data format, software, and application. If you do not know the chip model, send us the reader information or an existing wristband sample.

Can a smartphone read the RFID wristband?

Only when the wristband uses a compatible NFC chip, such as an NTAG option, and the phone supports NFC. LF and UHF chips are not read in the same way by standard smartphones.

Can you encode the RFID chips before delivery?

Yes. Wristbands can be supplied blank or pre-encoded. A rewritable chip can still be updated by the customer unless it has been permanently locked.

Can each wristband have different data?

Yes. We can produce unique sequential numbers, QR codes, barcodes, UID text, and encoded data. These items can be matched one to one based on the approved data file.

Can the wristbands be supplied on rolls?

Yes. Sheet and roll formats are available. Roll quantity, core size, output direction, and winding direction can be customized when required.

Do you provide ticketing or access control software?

No. We supply the physical wristbands, printing, encoding, UID reading, and data matching. Ticketing, payment, event management, and access control software are not included.

Can I test samples before placing a bulk order?

Yes. Existing samples are free, and the customer pays the courier cost. Testing with the actual reader and operating environment is recommended before bulk production.
